| YOUR MyLinkNetwork LISTING PRIVACY & DELETION |

 |
Many MyLinkNetwork members want to receive LinkedIn invitations, Introductions, and other messages. But some find they receive too much contact, or that the messages doesn't meet their expectations in terms of personalization, quality, or other factors. If you feel the messages are spam or inappropriate, please visit our Terms of Service and Complaints page.
MyLinkNetwork gives you the control to make your listing as public or private as you like.
To reduce the flow of invitations and messages via MyLinkNetwork we recommend that you edit your listing for one or more of the following:
- Change your networker type to WARM or CLOSED.
- Click the Preferences checkbox "Keep my email address private"
- Click the Preferences checkboxes to "DO NOT publish my listing in" the
Main MyLinkNetwork directory,
Open networker lists, and
Groups.
- Remove your QuickLink invitation URL.
When you keep your MyLinkNetwork account but make it closed, you can still enjoy many of the benefits of being part of MyLinkNetwork. Members and visitors can look up your listing and initiate contact through the normal LinkedIn Introduction and InMail programs.
These changes don't guarantee all invitations or emails will be stopped. You can still be contacted in ways that have nothing to do with MyLinkNetwork. Here are other ways to manage your online privacy.
- Don't publish your email address or QuickLink in your LinkedIn profile, LinkedIn Answers, any LinkedIn or discussion groups or communities, open web pages, or anywhere else accessible to the public.
- Remove any text that encourages people to send you a LinkedIn invitation.
- Restrict the number of LinkedIn groups you belong to.
- Edit or delete your account at other LinkedIn or discussion groups where you may be listed.
No matter what you do, you will still get occasional invitations if you were an open networker in the past:
- Messages from LinkedIn, such as Introductions, InMails, and messages from direct connections.
- LinkedIn members sharing connection and contact lists
- Google and other search engines that have cached or arcihved web page.
MyLinkNetwork listings must be deleted by the database administator. If you still want your listing removed, contact us at
